How to remove the front and rear bumper Lincoln MKZ (2005-2012)

Depending on the year of manufacture, the mounting points differ slightly.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood, we Unscrew five screws (after 2009, two more pistons), which attach the radiator grille.

-in the wheel arches, we Unscrew three screws on each side, which attach the undercarriage and bumper sides.

-the perimeter of the lower part is unscrewed ten screws (twisted from the bottom up).

-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners on themselves).

-with an assistant, we pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).

-disconnect the connectors from the fog lights.

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-from the trunk, Unscrew three nuts on each side and remove the tail lights.

-under the tail lights, we Unscrew one screw and pull out one pistol.

-from the bottom side, we Unscrew the screws (screwed from the bottom up) that fasten the lower part.

-in the wheel arches, we Unscrew three screws on each side, which attach the undercarriage.

-behind the slats, we Unscrew one screw on each side, which attaches the corners of the bumper to the fenders.

-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners on themselves).

-pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect the Parking meter connectors (if present).
