Infiniti QX56 II / QX80 (2010-2023) bumper removal.
Depending on the year of manufacture, the mounting locations may vary slightly.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-under the hood we take out three pistons (inserted from top to bottom) that secure the radiator grille (the remaining pistons and screws remain in place).
-release from the latches and clamps (indicated in the diagram by blue arrows) and remove the radiator grille (you need to jerk it towards yourself, starting from the bottom of the grille).
-if there is one, disconnect the electrical connector of the camera.
-under the grille we take out the eight pistons (inserted from top to bottom) that secure the upper part of the front bumper.
-from the bottom, unscrew the eight screws that secure the lower part and the two screws that secure the arch trims.
-turn the wheels depending on which side we will disassemble.
-in the wheel arches, unscrew two screws on each side and release the arch linings (the front part) (they are held on by latches, we pull them towards us from the bottom up).
-move the fender liners to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the corners to the wings.
-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners toward you).
-release the latches under the headlights (pull towards yourself).
-with an assistant, carefully pull the bumper forward (watch the wires and hoses).
-we release the connectors of the electrical equipment.
-if there are headlight washers, disconnect the hoses (liquid may leak from the reservoir).
-we release it from the latches (you need to pry it and pull it towards you) and remove the plastic covers near the rear lights.
-under the trims, unscrew two screws on each side, release them from the fasteners in the wings (indicated in the image by blue arrows) and remove the rear lights.
-we take out the two pistons under the rear lights and Unscrew the two screws in the trunk opening that secure the upper part of the rear bumper.
-unscrew two screws on each side in the wheel arches and one on the bottom side, which secure the arch linings.
-we release the arch linings from the bumper (they are held on by latches, we pull them towards us from the bottom up).
-move the fender liners to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the corners to the wings.
-unscrew the six screws from the bottom (twisted from bottom to top).
-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners toward you).
-release the latches in the trunk opening (pull towards yourself).
-with an assistant, pull the rear bumper back (make sure not to break the wires).
-disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment.
