How to remove the front and rear bumper Toyota Hilux (2015+)

Toyota Hilux VIII AN120 / AN130 (2015+)

Depending on the year of manufacture and body type, the attachment points may differ.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood take out eight caps and remove the trim over the grille.

-under the trim, Unscrew the four screws that secure the grille.

-(depending on the year of manufacture) remove the grille (the lower part is held on by latches).

-behind the grille, Unscrew the three screws.

-around the bottom of the bumper, take out the caps and Unscrew the screws (twisted and inserted from the bottom up).

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel wells take out the caps and Unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner (front) and bumper corners to the wings.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).

Rear bumper

-from the bottom side, behind the bumper, Unscrew two bolts on each side that secure the bumper amplifier brackets to the body.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.
