Front Bumper Removal
- Open the hood.
- Under the hood:
- 2003-2005: Remove two clips securing the top of the bumper.
- 2005-2008: Unscrew four bolts securing the top of the bumper (near the grille).

- Remove four clips securing the bottom of the bumper (inserted bottom-up). Be prepared to replace these clips as they often break.
- Wheel arches:
- 2003-2005: Unscrew three bolts per side securing the wheel liners. Release the catches in the fenders by gently pulling the bumper toward you.
- 2005-2008: Unscrew two bolts per side securing the wheel liners and bumper corners to the fender brackets. Use a screwdriver to press the retractable bracket fasteners (where the top bolts were). Release the sides from the fender clips.
- With an assistant, remove the bumper by pulling it forward. Caution: Don't damage any wires or hoses!
- Disconnect the temperature sensor, fog lights, and parking sensor connectors.
- If headlight washers are installed, disconnect the water hoses.
Rear Bumper Removal
- Open the trunk.
- In the trunk opening:
- Unscrew four bolts securing the top of the bumper.
- Rear wheel arches:
- Unscrew three bolts per side securing the wheel liners and bumper corners to the fender brackets.
- Underside:
- Release two plastic fasteners and (if present) remove five clips.
- Release the catches in the fenders and under the taillights.
- With an assistant, remove the bumper by pulling it backward. Don't forget to disconnect the parking sensor wiring.
